Send the instruction to Codex
Codex reads the machine-readable install guide from the same site address, so you never type terminal commands yourself.
You keep reviewing, approving, and editing in the browser, while the Codex agent collaborates with the internal Beav agent through the Beav Creator plugin instead of clicking web buttons.
Paste it into any Codex task. The agent reads the guide on this site, installs the Beav Creator plugin, and connects to your local Beav.
/goal Read https://www.getbeav.com/agent to install the Beav Creator plugin and set up a new task for me.Codex reads the machine-readable install guide from the same site address, so you never type terminal commands yourself.
Beav only prepares local plugin resources; Codex installs and verifies the plugin with the CLI bundled in its desktop app, without relying on your terminal PATH.
After installation, a fresh task is created so the newly registered Beav MCP tools load in a clean agent session.
How it works
Codex → Beav Creator MCP → Beav internal agent. Task status, artifacts, and completion evidence all travel over typed contracts.
Browser → localhost Beav UI. Users sign in with their own account, watch progress, approve actions, and keep editing.
Install the desktop or CLI version first, then hand the instruction above to Codex.
